Kinesiology (Kin – easy – ology)
It represents an idea, an approach, a lifestyle rooted in the belief that the body possesses a natural capacity to heal itself. This approach merges the Western medical knowledge of anatomy and physiology with the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Numerous factors throughout your life impact your well-being and healing ability, including ancestry, history, genetics, prenatal and birth experiences, infancy, childhood, and the integration of body, mind, and spirit, all contributing to your overall health.

If you're experiencing symptoms of illness, you might have ways to manage them, but gaining a deeper understanding of these symptoms is often incredibly beneficial.
Wouldn’t it be great to relieve your symptoms rather than simply learning to manage and live with them?

Understanding more about yourself as an individual can help explain why symptoms may recur and why certain physical and muscular conditions persist, even after treatments that seem effective.

I employ the chiropractic technique of muscle monitoring to detect stresses or imbalances within the body. This method, also referred to as a 'biofeedback tool,' establishes a direct connection to the subconscious, granting access to the muscular system. When a muscle unlocks, it indicates a lack of neurological communication between the muscle and the central nervous system, often resulting from physical, emotional, or mental stress.

By calming and rebalancing the nervous system with a combination of bodywork, counseling, and relaxation techniques, you can take control of your life's direction, encompassing past, present, and future.

Mind Body Medicine
Mind-Body Medicine is an integrative method that helps in understanding the significance of specific symptoms, motivations, and behavioral patterns affecting overall health and well-being. It's used to discover the root causes of imbalances and stress within the body, which may result in physical pain, structural issues, depression, anxiety, learning difficulties, nutritional imbalances, sensitivities, and energetic/vibrational discrepancies, among others. Understanding the motivations behind our lifestyle choices becomes crucial when these choices contribute to our illnesses. Limiting belief counseling is an effective technique that engages both the conscious and subconscious belief systems, peeling back multiple layers of behavior and aiding individuals in discovering and embracing their truth. Confronting these truths liberates us from our conditioning, allowing us to exist freely.
Understanding energy
These pathways of energy are known as meridians; they channel energy between the body's surface and its internal organs. Energy, also referred to as qi (pronounced "chi"), is more than mere energy; it is the fundamental element of all creation. Acupuncture, originating in China over 3,500 years ago, is one of the oldest and most widely practiced healing systems in the world. Traditional Chinese Medicine employs hundreds of acupoints based on the belief that life energy circulates through these meridians within the body. Life experiences, traumas, physical injuries, and emotional challenges from the past, present, and future can obstruct these energy flows, with each acupoint holding these memories and stresses. Kinesiology assists in pinpointing the specific meridian and locating the exact point of blockages in the body, identifying the physical symptoms that arise, examining the associated psychology, and then, through the application of light pressure, releasing these stresses and clearing blockages to help return the body to its optimal state of flow.

Limiting Beliefs Counselling
Our daily reactions to life are shaped by our belief system. Recognizing that our reactions are prompted by external factors allows us to understand that we have control over our responses. Often, we encounter individuals who affect us deeply, such as a boss, colleague, or family member—people we cannot easily exclude from our lives. The challenge lies in coexisting with them, acknowledging that while we cannot control their actions, we do have power over our reactions. This realization of self-awareness is a crucial step in personal transformation and is truly enchanting. Illnesses can be stress-induced, stemming from our behavioral patterns. When we lack freedom and are influenced by others and past experiences, we may subconsciously become trapped by our self-perceptions and worldview. Exploring these beliefs, identifying the limiting ones, and understanding their true motivators can be enlightening. Since different behaviors impact various body parts, understanding these underlying motivators is key to healing. By confronting them directly, you can transform your life for the better. As a client, you will effortlessly forge connections and discover the transformative insights necessary for change, healing, and achieving greatness.
Metaphors and Chakras
Chakras are energy centers within the human body that help regulate all its processes, from organ function to the immune system and emotions. Many of us have experiences that may seem unique, but when we use storytelling to connect with a client, they can see themselves in the story, truly connect, reflect, gain new insights, dissolve stress patterns, and realize that what seems unique to them is an experience shared since the dawn of time. Realizing that your pain is not singular can make it easier to release it and progress in life. Integrating these narratives with acupressure, particularly for spiritual or psychological matters, unleashes a potent and magical effect. Various metaphors correspond to different Chakras and are selected based on the core similarities in a client's exhibited stress patterns. As you recline, relax, listen, and connect, the power naturally reveals itself.
Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR)
The fight-or-flight response is an acute stress reaction triggered by the release of stress hormones. It's a vital, normal bodily function designed to keep you safe from harm, threats, or survival challenges. This response was crucial for the survival of our ancestors. However, modern humans still exhibit the same stress response, which means our brains prepare us to either flee or fight even when we're not facing actual danger but are merely worried. If your fight-or-flight response is overactive all day or for prolonged periods, it's not surprising that you might overreact to minor triggers. This can be problematic and detrimental to both your relationships and health if you're unable to deactivate this stress response. Many individuals face this challenge, which can lead to adrenal fatigue and a range of other health concerns. However, there's no need for concern as there are numerous methods to mitigate this response. By employing PMR and breathing techniques, we can soothe and stabilize the nervous system. When combined with a variety of bodywork, counseling, and relaxation practices, you can regain control over your life, encompassing past, present, and future.
